FINDING THE LIGHT OF GOD.

TOPIC : FIND THE LIGHT PF GOD

TEXT: Matthew 5: 14, 16

        OUTLINE

 Believers in Christ are the light of the world. They are light because Christ who is the light of the world (John 8:12) is in them. But it is a pity that several Christians only claim to be light but Christ is not in them. Is God truly the King of your life? Of your heart? Of your destiny? Is God rejoicing or regretting for keeping you alive? Where is your light? If you have the light, why are people around you still walking in darkness – why are sinners not being saved by you? God is crying for a person that will take over the streets, but there is none. God is suffering the lack of somebody to save souls. 

THE SILENT SAINTS

- The silent Saints are Christians who are not preaching. People are committing sins around you, going to Hell every day, yet you are silent. 

- Silent Saints will go to Hell for being silent, Ezek 33:8. 

- The blood of dead Saints will judge silent Saints after death, Rev. 20:12. 

- The blood of Jesus will cry against silent saints after death, Rev. 22:12.

       FIVE WOES

1) Woe awaits you whom great anointed men have laboured on and you cannot labour on others – repent now! Col. 4:12.  

2) Woe awaits you who have received so much but cannot give back anything – repent now! Col. 4:12. 

3) Woe awaits you a Pastor or an Evangelist that does not preach in a day – repent now! 2 Tim. 4:2. 

4) Woe awaits you who was brought up by the money of gospel (your Parents being ministers of God) and yet you live in sin – repent now! Rom. 2:1a 

5) Woe awaits you who, after preaching in the bus or public place, begin to ask for an offering – repent now! Matt. 10:8b.

THE GREAT COMMISSION (Mark 16:15, 16)

√ Go and win the souls of General Overseers, Prophets and Pastors, they are the ones producing errors and criminals in the society today, Luke 14:23.

√ Go and win the souls of unbelievers on the streets, markets, hospitals, prisons, Luke 5:32. 

√ Go and win the souls of sinners in the Churches, Matt. 10:6

√ Evangelize even if you are at the danger of) death; when the mighty are silent; when you are sick or weak – preach at all seasons, Matt. 10:39. However, Soul- winning is not done only by preaching. 

• Your Christ-like character is the greatest form of preaching, 2 Cor. 13:5; Matt. 5:16. Christian, where is your Light? In your home, at your place of work, on the way in your journey, in the Church with fellow brethren, in the market, everywhere you go – at all times – where is your Light? Do people, can people see the Light of God in you? Remember the infallible Word of God: “A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid” – (Matt. 5:14b). In your business dealings, in your evangelism outreaches, in all your day- to-day undertakings, even in the secular world affairs, where is the manifestation of the Light of God in your life? Where is the Light of God? Now, in this end-time, the life of the Christian - not really the Holy Bible – is what people are reading, even meticulously and studiously. The greatest Commission the Lord Jesus has set for you is Evangelism, (Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:g15,16 and Luke 24:47).
